Montenegro Escape

After breakfast, departure for a full-day private excursion through the UNESCO-protected Bay of Kotor. The first visit will be Kotor, a beautifully preserved medieval town positioned between the mountains and the sea. 

During the guided walk through Kotor Old Town, guests will discover its narrow stone streets, historic squares and elegant palaces. The walk includes the Sea Gate, Square of Arms, Clock Tower, the exterior of the Cathedral of Saint Tryphon and other important architectural landmarks. 

The journey continues along the bay to Perast, a small baroque town celebrated for its stone palaces, churches and beautiful waterfront setting. From Perast, guests will take a private boat to Our Lady of the Rocks, the famous man-made island created over centuries by local sailors. The visit includes the island church and museum, followed by the return boat ride to Perast. Free time will be available for an optional waterfront lunch. 

In the afternoon, return to Budva for a guided walk through the medieval Old Town, including its stone lanes, historic churches, main squares, Citadel area and seaside promenade. Return to the hotel after the sightseeing program.

After breakfast, departure from the hotel at 08:00 for a full-day private journey to northern Montenegro. The route leads inland through Podgorica and continues through the dramatic Morača Canyon, following the Morača River between steep cliffs, rocky slopes and deep valleys. Short panoramic stops will be made at safe and suitable locations. 

The journey continues towards the Tara River and the monumental Đurđevića Tara Bridge. Rising high above the river, the bridge provides remarkable views over the Tara Canyon. Guests will have time for a short walk, photographs and an optional zip-line experience, payable directly on site. 

The tour then proceeds to Žabljak and Durmitor National Park, a UNESCO World Heritage Site known for its mountain peaks, glacial lakes and dense pine forests. Free time will be provided for an optional lunch at a traditional mountain restaurant. 

The highlight of the afternoon is Black Lake, the best-known glacial lake in Durmitor National Park. Guests will enjoy time beside the lake for a relaxed walk, photography and views of the surrounding forest and mountain peaks. Return to Budva via Žabljak and Nikšić, with arrival expected at approximately 20:00.

After breakfast, departure for a private excursion combining panoramic landscapes, cultural heritage, Montenegrin wine and the natural beauty of Skadar Lake National Park. 

The first stop will be Pavlova Strana, one of Montenegro's most photographed viewpoints. From this location, guests can admire the horseshoe-shaped bend of the Crnojevića River, surrounded by green hills and traditional villages. 

The journey continues to Rijeka Crnojevića, a small historic settlement that once served as an important trading and administrative centre. A short walk along the riverfront includes the picturesque 19th-century stone bridge and the historic riverside architecture. 

The program continues to a carefully selected family-owned winery. Guests will learn about local grape varieties and traditional winemaking before enjoying a tasting of selected Montenegrin wines accompanied by light traditional snacks. 

The final experience of the day is a private covered boat ride of approximately 1.5 hours on Skadar Lake. The cruise follows peaceful waterways and reed-covered channels, with views of fishing villages, aquatic vegetation, birdlife and the surrounding mountains. Free time can be provided for an optional lakeside lunch before returning to Budva.

After breakfast, hotel check-out and departure for Tivat. Subject to the confirmed flight schedule, guests will enjoy a sightseeing walk through Tivat, including the Pine waterfront promenade and Porto Montenegro, an elegant marina district with cafés, boutiques and attractive views across the bay. 

Free time will be provided for refreshments, shopping or a final waterfront walk. Afterwards, private transfer to Tivat Airport and drop-off at the terminal in sufficient time for flight check-in and departure to the UAE.
